Life is energy

(Law of Conservation of Energy):

Energy, Science, and the Bhagavad Gita: The Universal Principle of Consciousness and Karma
Both physical science and the philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita converge on a fundamental truth—energy is eternal; it can neither be created nor destroyed, it only changes form.
1. The Fundamental Intersection of Science and the Gita
Law of Conservation of Energy: The total energy of the universe remains constant. Energy merely transforms from one form to another.
Philosophy of the Gita (Chapter 2, Verses 22–23):
Nainam chhindanti shastrani nainam dahati pavakah...
The soul (core consciousness / life energy) cannot be cleaved by weapons, burned by fire, drenched by water, or dried by the wind. Just as a person sheds old clothes to wear new ones, the soul simply moves from one body to another.
2. Thoughts, Emotions, and Behavior: The Subtle Flow of Energy
Every action performed, word spoken, and thought harbored by human beings is a subtle form of energy:
The Energy of Anger and Speech: When we get angry at someone, we project our internal energy as negative vibrations toward them. This directly affects their mental and physical equilibrium.
The Energy of Wealth and Impact: Money, material possessions, or mutual support are not merely physical transactions; they represent the transfer of a person's labor and time (energy) to another.
3. The 'Law of Karma' and 'Newton's Third Law'
Energy flowing through the universe never dissolves into nothingness:
Action and Reaction: Newton's third law states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Karma is Real: When we release positive or negative energy (thoughts, words, actions) into the universe, it is never destroyed. Moving through the cosmic cycle, it ultimately returns to its original source—the doer—in the same form.
Essence:
Whether we call it the 'Law of Conservation of Energy' or the 'Principle of Karma', the truth remains the same—the energy we project into the universe is the exact energy that returns to our lives. Cultivating positive energy is therefore the only true path to peace and balance.
This is merely a philosophical perspective; there is no empirical evidence.
